Today, we introduced addition and had a LOT of fun working in our new math stations! In each station, we are working with manipulatives and practicing writing our math equations after we solve them.
We are also getting ready for the 100th day, practicing counting 1-100 by putting together puzzles of a 100 chart! This also helps us to see the relation of numbers (one more, one less, ten more, ten less) and how that looks on a number chart.
We are also practicing counting 1-100 by, yes, lining our room with these numbers! This group got really close to 100 before time ran out! :)
I am so excited about our new math unit and I know we will learn a lot! Stay tuned for more about our fun learning in addition!
