This week, we have been having a lot of fun while reading Dr. Seuss books. We finished up our author study today and read one of my FAVORITE Dr. Seuss books, The Lorax! We read the Lorax, and we created our own!
Then, we discussed the plot of The Lorax, and how the Lorax spoke for the trees who could not speak for themselves! We brain stormed ideas that we could do to help the Earth...
and then, we got to writing!
I have had so much fun during this author study! Next week, we will be starting our weather PBL. This is a FUN unit and I am so excited about it!
