In Social Studies, we have been discussing goods and services. In relation to this, each friend got a job in our classroom. On Friday, for their awesome hard work with their jobs last week, they got "paid". However, this week, we are discussing needs and wants and how to manage our money. We realized there are certain things we needed to take care of before we could spend our hard earned money in Ms. Fortner's classroom store!
Today, we had to pay rent for our chairs!
Each one of us had to pay $3 of our $10 so we had a place to sit today. We realized how important it is to take care of our needs before we take care of what we want!
